The Riverland Community College men's basketball team picked up another dominant win with a 94–55 victory over Minnesota North College–Itasca on Sunday night in Austin.
Riverland jumped out to a 51-18 halftime lead behind suffocating defense and pushing the ball in transition.
RCC's attack was paced by freshman guard Camden Fearon (Margate, FL) pouring in a game-high 19 points, which included three made three-pointers. Sophomore forward Joe Poyser (Wildwood, FL) 14 points & snatched a game-high 8 rebounds. Freshman guard Isaiah Lindor (Miami, FL) added 12 points. Sophomore forward Tristan Coleman (Maywood, IL) was a stat-sheet stuffer with 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 steals. Freshmnan forward Elhadji Thiam (Dakar, Senegal) chipped in 9 points off the bench on 4-of-6 shooting. Sophomore guard Lubab Kambalo (Sioux Falls, SD) scored 9 points connecting on three made three pointers.
Riverland won the rebounding battle 44-33, and assisted on 17 of their 29 made field goals.
