Riverland Community College remained unbeaten, improving to 11–0, with a 78–61 home victory over Gogebic Community College (NJCAA - D2) on Friday night.

Riverland set the tone early, building a 42–27 halftime lead behind balanced scoring and strong work on the glass. Gogebic closed the gap slightly in the second half but was unable to sustain a run to seriously threaten.

Freshman center Elhadji Thiam (Dakar, Senegal) 15 points (7-8 FG) & 9 rebounds. Sophomore guard Romelle Bell (Chicago, IL) 11 points, 5 rebounds & 4 assists. Sophomore guard Lubab Kambalo (Sioux Falls, SD) 9 points. Sophomore forward Nick Edland (Rose Creek, MN) 7 points. Riverland has 21 total assists as a team.
