Riverland Community College continued its strong start to the season with a convincing 79–46 home win over Minnesota North College–Hibbing on Friday night.
Riverland took control early, building a 30–21 halftime lead behind efficient offense and solid work on the glass. The Blue Devils pulled away after the break, outscoring Hibbing 49–25 in the second half.
Freshman guard Cam Fearon (Margate, FL) poured in a career-high 25 points (11-15 FG). Sophomore forward Tristan Coleman (Maywood, IL) 14 points (7-9 FG) & 8 rebounds (4 Offensive). Sophomore guard O'Marion Miller (Minneapolis, MN) 12 points (4-7 FG). Sophomore guard Lubab Kambalo (Sioux Falls, SD) 10 points.
Riverland shot 47.1 percent from the field and held Hibbing to 30.9 percent shooting, including just 3-of-21 from three-point range. The Blue Devils also forced seven turnovers and finished with a 35–34 edge on the boards.
