Riverland Picks Up Conference Win 79-76 Over Anoka Ramsey

Riverland Community College stayed unbeaten in league play, outlasting Anoka-Ramsey 79–76 Saturday afternoon.

Riverland built a 35–24 halftime lead behind efficient offense and strong rebounding, but Anoka-Ramsey responded with a big second half, outscoring the Blue Devils 47–36 to force overtime.

In overtime, Riverland made the key plays to close it out, winning the extra session 8–5.

Sophomore guard Lubab Kambalo (Sioux Falls, SD) poured in a career-high 27 points (7-11 3PT). Freshman guard Isaiah Lindor (Miami, FL) 23 points (9-15 FG) & snatched 5 rebounds. Sophomore forward Tristan Coleman (Maywood, IL) 10 points & 7 rebounds. Sophomore guard Tyson Helms (Tucson, AZ) 9 points, 4 rebounds & 3 assists. Sophomore forward Joe Poyser (Wildwood, FL) 13 rebounds & 5 assists #GoDevils

Riverland won the rebounding battle 42-29. 

#3 Devils improve to 19-1 (4-0 MCAC South) on the season with the win.
