Riverland Men's Soccer saw five of its standout players named to the All-MCAC Team following an impressive 2025 regular season campaign. The Blue Devils now turn their focus to the NJCAA Region XIII Championship, where they will face Minnesota West on Sunday.
All-MCAC Selections:
Nelson Powell – Freshman Defender (Frankston, Australia)
A key piece of Riverland's back line, Powell has started all 15 matches this season. In addition to his strong defensive play, he's contributed two goals and two assists.
Flynn Perry – Freshman Midfielder (Farnham, England)
Perry has been a steady presence in the midfield, starting every match for the Blue Devils. He's tallied three goals and four assists on the year.
Owen Spaeth – Freshman Midfielder (Rochester, Minnesota)
Spaeth has been a creative and consistent force in the middle of the field, starting all 15 games and recording four goals and three assists this season.
Abdullahi Atanda Aderogba – Freshman Midfielder (Lagos, Nigeria)
Aderogba leads the Blue Devils in scoring with nine goals this season, while also adding two assists. His attacking spark has been crucial to Riverland's success.
Josh Jones – Freshman Defender (Wirral, England)
Jones has been a two-way threat from the back, starting 11 matches while scoring five goals and leading the team with five assists.
