Riverland Community College Women's Basketball dropped their Sunday afternoon game, falling 71–52 to Rainy River.

Sophomore forward Sydney Shelby (Homer, AK) turned in a stellar effort leading all scorers with 26 points. Morgan Klankowski (Austin, MN) notched a strong double-double with 12 points and 17 rebounds. Najima Hassan (Mankato, MN) provided energy off the bench with 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Riverland trailed 35–25 at the half but couldn't close the gap despite consistent interior rebounding from their front court. Rainy River's efficiency proved too much to overcome down the stretch.
