Riverland Women's Volleyball Falls to Northland

Riverland Women's Volleyball came up short in a competitive four-set match against Northland Community & Technical College, falling 3–1 (20–25, 25–13, 25–18, 25–21).

The Blue Devils opened strong with a 25–20 win in the first set, hitting .129 with 10 kills and only six errors. However, Riverland struggled in the second, committing 12 attack errors while hitting -.400 as Northland evened the match. Despite improved offensive rhythm in the third and fourth sets, the Blue Devils couldn't slow down Northland's attack down the stretch.

  • Kyana Hutchinson powered the Blue Devils' offense with 9 kills while hitting .269, adding 7 digs.

  • Brienna Brewer tallied 7 kills, 4 service aces, and a solo block to finish with a team-high 12 points.

Defensively, Riverland posted 65 digs as a team, led by Johnson (14) and Parkin (12). At the net, Belting's three block solos and Brewer's solo stuff helped slow Northland's attackers at key moments.
