Riverland Defeats Northland 87-65 To Claim Seventh Straight

The Riverland men's basketball team continued its strong start to the season with an impressive 87–65 home win over Northland Community & Technical College on Saturday night.

Riverland built a 43–26 halftime advantage and never trailed, using efficient ball movement and perimeter shooting to control the game. The Blue Devils finished with 21 assists and knocked down 11 threes in the victory.

Sophomore forward Tristan Coleman (Maywood, IL) poured in a game-high netting 24 points, notching a double-double snatching 12 rebounds (6 Offensive) & dished out 6 assists. Sophomore guard Lubab Kambalo (Sioux Falls, SD) 20 points (6-11 3PT). Sophomore guard Tyson Helms (Tucson, AZ) 12 points, 7 assists & 4 rebounds. Sophomore forward Joe Poyser (Wildwood, FL) 12 points & 5 rebounds. Freshman guard Isaiah Lindor (Miami, FL) 11 points & 4 rebounds to round out five Blue Devils in double figures.
