Riverland Picks Up 75-66 Conference Win Over Minnesota West

Riverland Community College erased a one-point halftime deficit with a strong second half to pull away from Minnesota West, 75–66, on Wednesday night.

The Blue Devils had a bad last minute to the first half which saw them leading by four with the ball to trailing 39-38 at halftime. Riverland answered after halftime by tightening up defensively and turning stops into efficient offense, outscoring the Bluejays 37–27 over the final 20 minutes of the game.

Freshman guard Isaiah Lindor (Miami, FL) poured in a game-high 17 points (8-8 FT) & snatched 7 rebounds. Sophomore guard Romelle Bell (Chicago, IL) 12 points (4-5 FG). Freshman center Elhadji Thiam (Dakar, Senegal) 10 points (5-7 FG). Freshman guard Cam Fearon (Margate, FL) 10 points. Sophomore forward Tristan Coleman (Maywood, IL) 6 points & 6 rebounds. Sophomore forward Joe Poyser (Wildwood, FL) 6 points. 

#3 Devils improve to 18-1 (3-0 MCAC South) on the season with the win.
